From the North
From the North on I-35W - take I-35W south to the I-94 west exit.
This exit takes you past the exits for 11th Avenue and 11th Street - exit on 11th
Street (note: do not take 11th Avenue - 11th Street exit is
after the 11th Avenue exit). Take 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left.
Go past 12th Street and the entrance to the Convention Center Parking Ramp will be on the
right.
From the North on I-94 - take I-94 south to the Hennepin/Lyndale exit.
At the first stop light, turn left onto Hennepin Avenue. Take Hennepin Avenue
to 12th Street and turn right. Go past Marquette and the entrance to the Convention
Center Parking Ramp will be on the right.
From the South
Take I-35W north, following the Downtown Exits signs.
Exit on 11th Street, Take 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South. Turn left.
Go past 12th Street and the entrance to the Convention Center Parking Ramp will be on the
right.
From the East
Take I-94 west. Exit on 11th Street, Take 11th Street to 2nd Avenue South.
Turn left. Go past 12th Street and the entrance to the Convention Center
Parking Ramp will be on the right.
From the West
Take I-394 east to the Downtown Exits. Exit on 12th Street.
Go past Marquette and the entrance to the Convention Center Parking Ramp will be on
the right.
Free Parking on Sunday Mornings
When attending church at Wesley on Sunday mornings, there is free parking in two locations:
- Wesley has a parking lot behind the church. Entrance to the lot is off 1st Avenue
(a one-way north-bound street). However, parking is limited in this lot and is
shared with the Convention Center. Please be sure to not
park in any spaces signed for the Convention Center.
- Wesley also provides free parking on Sunday mornings in the underground Convention Center Parking Ramp. There are two entrances to the
parking ramp. One is on 12th Street (an east-bound one-way street) between Marquette
(1st Avenue) and 2nd Avenue. The other is on 2nd Avenue between 12th Street and Marquette.
When you enter the lot, take a ticket, sign your name and Wesley Church on
the back, and immediately hand it to the attendant. The attendant will not collect any money
from you. Wesley pays a reduced rate for this parking and if you would like to
reimburse the church, you can pay in the church office. You may park
anywhere in the ramp on any level. To reach Wesley Church from the
ramp, go to Elevator 1 and press PL
(Plaza). As you step out of the elevator, Wesley Church is visible to
the left across the street. You can also take the elevator to the
Skyway level and cross the street in the skyway.
When the Convention Center lot is full as occurs about 2 to 3 times a
year, you may want to park in any of the other nearby parking ramps, which
are shown on the map. The least expensive ramp is at the Hyatt
Hotel. Others are the Regal Hotel (across the street from the Hyatt)
and Orchestra Hall Parking Ramp. These all require payment.
