Wesley UMC - Choir and Music Program

Wesley is proud of its outstanding choir and music program, which everyone is welcome to join. The Wesley music program follows in the tradition of John Wesley, who introduced the revolution in British hymnology, and Charles Wesley, Methodism's great hymnist.

Music is an important part of the Wesley worship. Many of Wesley's notable firsts are with it's music program, including the first the first Sunday School orchestra.

The music department also holds an annual Performing Arts concert series.

Wesley is particularly proud of its talented musicians. The choir is under the direction of Bruce Gleason.

Rehearsal Schedule

The choir meets from approximately Labor Day through Memorial Day every year and takes the summer off. Rehearsals are held at the church each Wednesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. during the choir season. The choir meets again on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. for rehearsal. Everyone is welcome to join the choir or to come listen to the rehearsal.
